Dimple’s Learning Journey

Today we recognice Dimple (Class of 2025). One of Dimple’s passions is stationary. She decided to create a Learning Journey project to try to raise funds to get stationary products to Myanmar students who are unable to get these supplies.
Mr. McCamlie worked with her to find a charity that might help with this project. Last week Dimple made a presentation to a charity called ‘Back to School Myanmar’. They were hugely impressed with her presentation and have a made a significant contribution in funds and stationary to get her started.
This is a great example of Service Learning in action also demonstrates two of the ISY Learner Outcomes of compassionate global citizenship and being an agent of positive change.
