Secondary Principal’s Blog

January 28, 2022, Update

Christina Powers, Secondary School Principal

This past week was filled with excitement as our students began the transition back to in-school learning. It was great to have the campus come to life with the sounds of happy students.

On Friday, the semester 1 or Q2 report cards were made available on PowerSchool. As you review your child’s report card, make sure to carefully read the teacher’s comments and review the behaviors for learning. The report card is an indication of where your child is performing academically at this point in time. Please use this as an opportunity to discuss with your child what is working and how to best move forward.

If you have difficulty accessing your child’s report card, please know that you can contact the Secondary School office by email (secondaryoffice@isyedu.org) or call ext. 159/339 for assistance.
