Christina Powers, Secondary School Principal

ISY has been working with an inclusion specialist Belinda Karge to help ensure our inclusion systems and procedures align with our school’s mission and vision. In 2017, Belinda worked with our staff to develop systems to support an inclusive educational program. During the last few weeks, she met with students, teachers, and administration to gain insights into our programs’ growth and make suggestions to meet the needs of all of our students effectively.  We look forward to learning from her expertise.

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Next week the ISY team will be collaborating with the WASC committee regarding ISY’s renewal of our accreditation. WASC is an organization that works with many top international schools as part of their continuous improvement efforts. We look forward to obtaining our renewal as well as the action plan to help with school improvements.
