Happy Holidays. Wishing you a relaxing and fun-filled holiday.
This is just a reminder that after the Holiday all students who are in the country will be expected to attend in-person classes. If students are sick they will follow the same procedures as before. Sick students will not join the zoom links this is reserved for those who are outside of the country.
On April 29, 2022, Parent-Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be held online. We encourage students and parents to attend conferences in order to better understand how their child is doing academically and discuss ways to improve. Sign-ups for parent-teacher conferences will begin after the holiday on April 19th. The conferences will be held virtually. The secondary office will email a link for parents to sign up for designated times on April 19th. Just a reminder, there will be no school for students on April 29th the day of Parent-Teacher conferences.
If you have difficulty accessing your child’s report card, please know that you can contact the Secondary School office by email (secondaryoffice@isyedu.org) for assistance.
High School Prom will be held on April 30, 2022, at the Pan Pacific from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This is a high school-only event. Tickets are on sale. Please see our online store for more information about ticket purchases.
The “Greatest Day of the Year” is getting greater…..

It has been another great Olympiad. Please make sure to ask your child about their day!
Olympiad is an ISY tradition that has been a part of ISY for 32 years. It is often referred to by staff and students as the Greatest Day of the school year. Students from various grades and friendship groups work in teams performing a variety of activities that are based on teamwork and collaboration. This year’s Olympiad will be a whole school event with Elementary, Middle School, and High School students working together.
In addition to just being a fun day, the goal behind Olympiad is to develop our ISY school community where skills and attributes are valued and respected. Having a strong school community is essential as it develops a sense of belonging, provides a way for all students to be included, and helps build and strengthen cross-grade relationships. In addition, it allows students to form friendships, increase social skills, foster collaboration, and a sense of responsibility towards others.
