Looking Ahead: Summer Academy Programs
I realize it might be hard to think about summer break with everything that’s going on in the world right now. But ISY launched our Summer Academy program information this week and there is a lot to look forward to!
The program will take place June 15-19 and June 22-26 and students will be able to choose from more offerings than ever! Check out the complete list on our dedicated blog post about this and get registered before May 1st.
Session 3 ASA Waiting Lists & Payments
Session 3 ASAs started off with a bang this week. Over 90 activities were offered for students from KG-G12 and many of them filled up almost immediately. I realize some students are still on waiting lists. Teachers are taking roll, so as spaces become available or students don’t turn up for their activities, we will add new students from the waiting lists and inform parents.
If you registered your child for a fee-based activity, payments are due today – Friday, March 13th – so please pay as soon as possible.
Please contact Lisa Isom at lisom@isyedu.org if you have questions about an ASA or if you need to make changes to your child’s activities.
SEASAC Party
It’s been a tough season to be a SEASAC athlete. With the Coronavirus outbreak on the international news on a daily basis, and and the situation changing moment-by-moment, all of our SEASAC hosts made the difficult decision to cancel their tournaments and festivals.
For this reason, we thought it would be fun to get students together to play some games, enjoy the swimming pool, and have dinner together.
ISY has invited each of our SEASAC athletes, artists and MUN delegates to a fun-filled evening at the American Club on Friday, March 13th. We would like to celebrate our CHINTHE PRIDE and finish this SEASAC season – especially for our seniors – on a high note.

Athletics Results – March 7-13
- Wednesday, March 11 – Girls A team and Boys A & B team MS soccer vs ISM – Our teams came home from ISM this week with the opposite result of the week prior – all three teams had losses on the night. That said, these losses have lit a fire underneath our players just in time for end-of-season tournaments over the next week or so.
Activities Schedule – March 14-21
- MS Soccer vs YIS @ ISY – 4pm Boys, 5pm Girls*
- MS Soccer – Boys B Team Tournament @ ISM – 8am
- HS Basketball- Boys JV Basketball @ ISM – 8:30am
*These games were originally scheduled to be played at South Dagon field but they were moved to ISY. For this reason, we will not have a B-team boys game.
