Athletics and Activities
Dear Chinthes,
There has been a flurry of athletic activity over the last couple of weeks and next week there will be some more to look forward to. Two weeks ago our middle school badminton team played in the annual Yangon Athletic Conference (YAC) middle school tournament. Today and tomorrow it is our high school badminton players that will have their chance in the high school YAC badminton tournament.
Elementary school sports will be in focus for the next two weeks. This week a group of grade 9 students have organized a football tournament for the ISY elementary school students. Next week it is the basketball players’ turn to have their tournament on Tuesday. Finally, on Friday evening our grade 3-8 swimmers will be in action when ISY hosts a friendly swim meet.
For more information on all these events, please continue reading below.
Next week there will be some changes to the facilities schedule. Most noticeably, the campus will be closed on Thursday afternoon/evening for an event. Please read the Facilities Schedule section below for more details.
