ISY vs ILBC: MS Boys Football

    Final Score:

    ISY 2 – ILBC 1

The ISY boys delivered a superb comeback in their match against ILBC. Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the team returned to the pitch in the second half with renewed energy. They struck early, equalizing quickly, and from there, dominated the game. While ISY could have scored several more goals, the ILBC goalkeeper’s valiant efforts and a few unlucky shots hitting the uprights kept the scoreline close.

A special mention goes to Thurane, who gallantly volunteered to play in goal for the team. His bravery and quick reflexes earned him the well-deserved title of Man of the Match.

The win is a testament to the team’s resilience and commitment. Well done, Chinthes, and we look forward to more great performances ahead!

ISY vs. ILBC: MS Girls Football Recap

    Final Score:

    ILBC 7 – ISY 0

The ISY middle school girls’ football team put in a determined effort against ILBC. Despite the tough competition, the team showed resilience and fought hard throughout the match. One challenge was adjusting to the larger pitch, as ISY players are more accustomed to a smaller playing field.

Although ILBC’s strong team play gave them an advantage, the Chinthes never gave up and continued to push forward. A special shoutout to Jessica, who stepped up to play in goal. Her efforts in an unfamiliar position were commendable and helped keep the team in the game.

The girls gained valuable experience from this match, learning and growing as a team. Their perseverance and positive attitude will serve them well in future games. Well done, Chinthes!
