It is great having students back in classes engaged and actively learning. The energy level of our students and teachers is high. The student socials were well attended. Our social events are a great way to meet new friends and to build our ISY community. We look forward to running a parent social soon.
Back To School Nights
Our Annual Back to School Night will be taking place next week at the dates and times listed below. Back to School Night is an opportunity for parents to meet teachers and to learn more about each of their child’s classes. Please use this opportunity to make connections with the classroom teacher as well as other parents. If you have specific questions about your child, please schedule a private meeting with the teacher at a later time.
High School(Grades 9-12): Wednesday, Sept 1st at 7:00 PM
Grade 6: Thursday, Sept. 2nd at 6:45 PM
Grade 7: Thursday, Sept. 2nd at 7:30 PM
Grade 8: Thursday, Sept. 2nd at 8:00 PM
A schedule of the event along with zoom links will be sent home to parents on Tuesday.
STUDENT AGREEMENTS OF ACCEPTABLE TECHNOLOGY USE
This week, our students will be signing Student Agreements of Acceptable Technology Use.
These agreements are an important part of educating our students about good digital citizenship and keeping them safe online. Once your child signs their agreement, you will also receive an agreement to sign by email.
