Please note that Friday, November 12th marks the end of Term 1 of After School Activities.
IB Exams May 2022
We realize that many students and parents are anxious about the exams in May 2022. Please know that as information becomes clear we are committed to informing parents and students in a timely manner. Below are the main points to note at this time.
- We have informed the IB of ISY ‘s situation regarding in-class learning and covid.
- The IB has requested that all classes submit Internal Assessments, as we did last year, in the event that testing is not possible in May. If this occurs the IB will be able to use IAs to award marks that are reflective of student performance.
- At this point, the IB is operating under the expectation that all students worldwide will examine. We expect greater clarity on our particular situation from the IB in January 2022.
- As soon as there is clarity from the IB we will host a parent information evening. We anticipate being able to do this in late January early February. Please note our goal is to keep parents and students informed of any updates.
