Bright Smiles
The bright smiles around campus were unmistakable! Thanks to Evergreen Dental Care’s generous support, 52 children from ISY’s Chinthe Fund partners, Kalitaw school and the Care to the Least Center (CLC), enjoyed free dental treatment and a joyful day at ISY.
Kind Words Help
Chinthe Connections, a new student-led service group, launched the Gratitude Wall to promote mental wellness and reflection. By sharing kind words and expressions of thanks, students created a powerful space for connection, calm, and community during the busy exam season.
Trash to Fashion
ISY’s Trashion Show turned trash into art as students from grades 6 to 12 created stunning outfits using only recycled materials to celebrate Earth Day. From sea creature gowns made of plastic bags to glittery circus-themed designs, the event combined creativity with a powerful environmental message.
Accelerating Action
March 8th. A day to celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women all around the world. International Women’s Day is a reminder of the progress made on the journey for equality. For this year’s International Women’s Day, ISY service learning group Hnin Si, took the lead by organizing impactful events.
