ISY Hosts Virtual SEASAC Swim Competition
ISY hosted it’s very own SEASAC Swim Competition last weekend, swimming “virtually” against other schools from all over Southeast Asia. Although the ISY team has only been able to train part time and sporadically since December, the athletes put everything on the line, even setting some personal records at the event.
On Monday, each SEASAC school that competed in the event submitted their times to a master database and “official” results were posted, just as if all the schools had competed together in one location. Although it was bittersweet not to be competing in person, it was exciting to see some great races in the pool and to have ISY students competing once again.
