Our very own college counselor – Mick Amundson-Geisel has been recognized for his fantastic efforts in our region to bring college admissions staff closer to our students. He has been awarded the Fall 2022 GEM (Going the Extra Mile) award. This is what they had to say about him:
Your staff member is the architect of an amazing counselor network. He has built a multi-school fair that has been added to the Southeast Asia fair circuit. This has allowed colleges and universities to learn about the potential of students from Myanmar. His continued focus on collaboration with other schools and working with only platforms has proven to be immensely successful.
