On Wednesday, our Grade 10 World Studies students exhibited their research on a topic of interest to them.

On Thursday, we hosted the inaugural International Schools Chess Tournament in our gym. There were over 80 student participants.

Today, at a special International Women’s Day assembly, we heard from US Chargé d’Affaires Susan Stevenson and ISY Service Group, Hnin Si.

This week we were visited by author, John Coy. Mr. Coy had visited ISY back in 2016. He was very eager to return and glad that he did.

Tomorrow is our annual Family Sports Day. It is a fun student-led day that supports our Chinthe Fund Partners. See you there!

On Tuesday, all students from Grades 2 to 12 came together in their Chinthe Communities for our ISY Olympiad.

Last weekend, ISY hosted the Yangon Model United Nations (YMUN), simulation of the United Nations with Yangon international school students.

Last week, ISY hosted Mr. d’Arcy Lunn as our visiting expert. He was the best person to answer our burning questions about service learning.

this week has been a very busy one that highlighted how our compassionate Mission is central to everything we do.
