It was great to see our students celebrating the start of the Thingyan holiday and we are very grateful to our Parent Association and ISY parents who organized the food and the fun today.
We would like to wish you all an enjoyable and restful Thingyan break. We look forward to seeing you again on Monday, April 22 as we move into a busy end of the year.
Also today, our Grade 12 students finished their regular classes in preparation for their final IB Diploma exams. We are very proud of our Seniors and we are sure that you will all join us in wishing them all the very best of luck.

University Admissions – Navigating Entry Requirements for Australia and New Zealand
On Wednesday, April 24, at 6:00 pm in the Library (Floor 1), our ISY High School Counselor will present on decoding the admission processes for international students in Australia and New Zealand, providing valuable insights into application requirements, visa procedures, and strategies for successful enrollment.

Parent Student Teacher Conferences
Parent Student Teacher Conferences will be from 8:30am to 5:00pm on Tuesday, April 23 in the ISY Gym for grades 6 to 12. There will be no classes that day and students are strongly encouraged to attend the conferences with their parents.
Today instructions were emailed to parents to sign up for Parent Student Teacher Conferences on Powerschool. You will be able to sign up for conferences up until 1 until 10:00am on Monday, April 22. You will then receive an email from our School Office that Monday afternoon confirming your conference schedule.
These conferences will be an opportunity to discuss your child’s Quarter 3 Progress Report and general progress with their teachers. The primary purpose for the Quarter 3 Progress Report is to communicate student achievement and executive functioning skills that support learning at this point in the year.
If you need assistance with signing up for the conferences please do not hesitate to contact our Secondary School office.
The Quarter 3 Progress Report is partnered with the Quarter 3 Parent Student Teacher Conference. The report provides a summary of data to support conversations with teachers to develop a common understanding of your child’s academic progress and how this is being supported.
Your child’s Quarter 3 Report is now available on Powerschool. Today, you will have received instructions on how to access this report card in an email from the Secondary School Office.
On June 5, your child’s Quarter 4 / Semester 2 Report will be available on Powerschool. This year, this report will include personalized comments for all subjects that help explain your child’s academic achievement levels at the end of the year.
