Athletics & Community Blog
Music to My Ears
As I sit here in my office at ISY to write this blog post, the sound of a small volleyball game is coming in through the open window. This is going to sound sappy, but as the athletic director, that is music to my ears.
A few boys from the high school volleyball team are playing on the upper court, 3-to-a-side, and fully masked. They are making concessions and following the rules to help ensure that they can continue to play for weeks to come.
Over the past few days, there have been ISY students swimming laps in the pool, shooting hoops and passing a volleyball on the upper court, and taking shots on goal on the soccer pitch.
I am hopeful this is just the start. Please check out the Facility Use blog post for more information about access guidelines and the registration process. We hope to see you on campus soon!
